Radio Silence

I’d like to apologize for all the silence on my end, this quarantine has really changed up our lives and it’s been an interesting few weeks.

First I’d like to say I seriously think Lillian is wanting to really try potty training and she’s finally started working with me…yes it’s probably just for the mini cookie she gets after she goes but honestly I’m taking that as a win today.

Jackson is testing more and more boundaries but I know it’s because he misses going places and seeing people. It breaks my heart to see him so down. Though on a positive note we will be finishing his home school ahead of schedule so his summer will start a little early 😁😁 we are both incredibly happy about that fact!!!!

This coming month is my wedding anniversary, which will make four years that I have been married to my amazing husband. I give it to the people who make marriage look easy because it’s not. Yes it has its moments when it is but honestly some days it is hard. You make mistakes, mess up, hurt one another. But you also love, respect, honor, and adore them. It’s all about finding the balance.

I made my favorite cake this week for his boss’s birthday and dang was it yummy!! I miss baking all the time and I hope I can get that going again. I’ve also decided to focus on all the little things and be more appreciative, such as seeing my favorite flowers when I am feeling a little down.

Wow this week is LONG!!

This week has been full of events both good and bad for my family. Someone stole my one year olds best friend (our eight month old bloodhound). It breaks my heart watching her look outside as she calls for RooRoo. Henry (my one year old rat terrier) is also taking Ruby’s loss incredibly hard. Why are people so terrible?? I just hope that she can find her way back home…but if not that she is loved and cherished like she should be.

On a different note I am hard core trying to potty train my one year old. That is probably going about as good as you think it would so please send me positive thoughts because I’m going to need them!! 😂😂

Homeschooling…. yeah I don’t miss doing this in the least!! I have the upmost respect and love for all teachers!!!! (That’s the honest truth they are remarkable!!!) Jackson seems to think since we are stuck at home it means school is optional and likes to give attitude when we have to do work…. so I am still trying different approaches to see what works best for him.

I hope that everyone is doing okay in this crazy time of crisis. If you ever need help with something please reach out!! Have a wonderful day from my crazy bunch to yours 💋💋
